No. Passwords are never stored and notes are encrypted with AES-256. Without the password, a note cannot be recovered by anyone, including us. This is by design — it's what keeps your notes private.
If you chose iCloud sync, yes — your encrypted notes are kept in your iCloud Drive and restored after reinstalling. If you chose Local only, notes are removed when the app is deleted.
Use the Share action to send the encrypted .pnotes file over any channel. Share the password separately (in person or by phone). Only someone with the password can open it.
Open the Settings app on your iPhone → tap your name → Subscriptions → Trove Notes. You can cancel anytime; cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid being charged.
